Jo has worked as a veterinary technician at Mountainside for the last 25 years and recently rescued a boxer named “General”. Jo has a soft spot for boxers.
It started a year ago when a close friend began placing dogs that need to be rescued on her Facebook page. A picture of “General” appeared with his story. As a stray in a shelter at The Darlington Humane Society (Darlington, South Carolina), he was going to be put down due to his age (9 or 10 yrs old) and heartworms. Most people do not adopt a dog with heartworm because you are looking at problems that come with a big expense. Boxers generally do not live long which paints a grim picture for the “General”. By the following weekend, “General” was placed in their shuttle transport group called “Paws To The Rescue”. They had 3 or 4 cars moving 15 -20 dogs up the coast - in which they do every weekend. Each carrier drives several hours relaying the dogs until they reach their new owner.
He was 44 pounds of ‘skin and bones’ when they picked him up. He slowly started gaining weight but his range of motion was greatly impaired. Medication complications started to affect his liver.

Canine Microbial Supplement
I put my seven year old Boxer on Microbial Supplement right after I rescued him. He was full of fleas, had severe allergies and I couldn’t keep a collar on him (leather or nylon) without tons of itching. He had constant yeast infections in his arm pits (for lack of better words). After he was on the Canine Microbial Supplement for about two weeks, I noticed a significant decrease in his itching, the rashes and the yeast infections. Then after about two months on the product, everything was almost completely gone. All that was left was some dry skin and an occasional yeast infection which was taken care of with just a simple bath. The bath had not worked before using the Canine Microbial Supplement.

I breed dogs and have a small kennel. I had one female that wasn’t doing very good. She was bleeding for some unknown reason and I didn’t know what to do with her. I have an eight-year-old Rottweiler that had become a pretty lay-around type because of hip problems. We have a 175 pound Komondor - Great Pyrenees cross. He was attacked by an Akita last fall. He could not stand up as it hurt his hips really bad. Roughly a half hour later, he came back down to the house. I got some Senior Dog Supplement and started giving it to him. In two days, he was back up walking around. Since then it’s been almost a year. If he doesn’t get his Senior Dog Supplement you can tell he continues to have problems by the way he’s walking. He comes to the door every night for his Senior Dog Supplement.

Canine Gel
My older son purchased a puppy from a breeder and in only two weeks she became deathly ill. He called me because he didn’t have any money for a vet. He said, “Mom what do we have that we can give to her?” So I told him to use the Canine Gel. He gave her 2ccs every day and within a couple of days he saw marked improvement. She quit throwing up and having severe watery diarrhea. When he called the breeder he found out that the liter had Parvo. He had already purchased the puppy before she or any of the other puppies showed any signs of the disease. So, the puppy was sick with Parvo and instead of taking her to the vet he just used the Canine Gel and it took care of her. She’s a beautiful dog to this day.

One of our dogs got sick one night, she must have eaten something outside. She started throwing up on the floor at about midnight. So, I gave her some Canine Gel immediately after she was done and it kind of perked her up, otherwise she was lying there pretty sick looking. Then in the morning, we did it again and she was good as new. She’s been acting a lot better and I really feel that if we hadn’t have used the Canine Gel we probably would have had to take her to the vet.
